What is the partnership?
The purpose of the Hutton Community Partnership (HCP) is to provide a framework for gathering together organisations representing the residents and social groups of Hutton in the spirit of working together on community based projects and issues.
Who is it for?
The partnership is aimed at organisations representing community groups in the Hutton area but welcomes input from any individual or business who wants to support our aims.
The partnership is non political and our ethos is really about a partnership run by and for the benefit of the community of Hutton.
Why do we need one?
Community Partnerships have been shown to be successful in reducing anti-social behaviour, crime and graffiti, but also providing better services for the young, elderly and lonely.
How do I get involved?
Take a look at our membership page for details of how to join or simply register your interest.
So is this run by the council?
No. The partnership has been set up by a group of individuals who have organisations serving Hutton or who just have a passion to get get involved in creating a better Hutton. We do have the support of the council and our local councillors. Along with other agencies we involve them in what we are doing but they have no role in the running of the partnership.
